Bauer XLP Quad Roller Skates with Ventro Wheels

*AUTHENTIC REVIEW INCOMING* First and foremost, I have NEVER bought skates that felt this comfortable on my feet. I have been roller skating for almost a decade now ( Just turned 24 on Nov 1st, so I’m still young ), and I wanted a new pair of skates that I can use outside to keep me young for as long as possible! I got tired of just having inside skates. Now, I can skate every second of the day if I wanted. Critiques: I only have one. I am in America and I’ve never had skates that come up that high on my calf. I had to go to target and get some leg warmers because it irritated my calves when I skated… but I was breaking them in and I had been skating for hours every single day, so some of that pain is definitely my own fault. Also, if you live in America… you will have to pay importing fees. BUT, that has nothing to do with JTSkate and EVERYTHING to do with american politics. After I bought the skates, I was even notified that there may be importing fees. My fee was about $34, so it didn’t break the bank. Pros: These skates feel amazing, don’t slip and slide against my feet, provide great support, and honestly…… I forget I’m wearing them when I sit down and take a break or just stop to text a friend back. They’re THAT comfortable. I removed the stoppers bc they’re too big for my skate style, but I kept them for my brother. The ventro wheels and the stoppers are great quality! When I’m skating, I feel as though I’m connected to the ground THROUGH my skates, as opposed to feeling like I have skates on. Iykyk. It sounds crazy, but these skates helped me learn how to do the crazy legs, get more comfortable on both sides when transitioning between forwards and backwards skating, and make me look mad cool. I am a real roller skater. Meaning, I genuinely love it and enjoy skating every single day. I love music, and these skates help me feel music in ways I never imagined. The ONLY thing I would do differently if I could go back in time, is buy these skates with the airwaves wheels since I’ve heard they’re the best outside wheels for these skates. If you’re thinking about getting the XLS instead for pricing or any other reason…. please realize that you’re buying these skates with the expectation that you’ll use them for a long time. The XLP’s cost about 30 USD more than the XLS, and I’m happy I went with the more expensive model. If you regularly skate, want to regularly skate, and/or want some skates so that you can find other skating friends (like I hope to find)… you’d be making a mistake by passing these up. If you like your pants to cover the top of your skates like I do, you’ll love these skates because the “Bauer” on the sides makes these look sooooo clean. 10/10, will continue to recommend!

The best skates to purchase!!! Parents your bank account might cry but it's definitely worth it, these skates are robust & perfect for speed skating. We purchased some tape instore to protect the skates.

Brilliant customer service and amazing skates. The boots are second to nine in terms of comfort and support while still being very manoeuvrable!!

Brilliant customer service, guidance, and help from JT, he put the powerdyne thrust plates on for me and these babies are out of this world. I can't imagine skating in anything else, and after a week of owning them, im so blown away. Couldn't rate them high enough. The actual inside of the boot is super comfy, snuggly hugs your ankles in all the places you need it too with amazing support while still being flexible and manoeuvrable. Perfect wheels for outdoors on tarmac, and really grippy while remaining very fast on smooth indoor surfaces. Abec 11 are worth the upgrade for sure, they are fast and quiet. I could go on all day about everything I love about the bauer x-lp skates, and have zero bad things or even the slightest complaint to say about them. If you are debating on whether to get them or not, DO IT!! You won't regret it, beginners and professionals alike, and everyone in between. And they will last forever the way they are made. Can't thank jtskate enough for the help, sending it next day delivery, and for assembling them perfectly with regards to the plate. You're the man! 10/10 all round.

I like to try my size because I want to be sure. I went to JT SKATE shop in Boxpark Shoreditch and got my Bauer now. It's amazing!
