Love these skates, my daughter has them and I tried them on and had to get some myself. I initially started off with the candy skates but when i tried my daughters Bauers on they were smooth, fast and felt like I could learn better in them and they had more stability. My daughter has the Xlp Bauers which has a bit more padding but you honestly can’t really tell the difference. The skate tape is brilliant to protect your skates and sticks very well to them, Definitely worth investing in.
